It provides information about Property Linked Finance (PLF), research, proposed policy changes and demonstration projects. By using this website, you agree to these terms.
General information, not personal advice
The information on this website is general information. It does not take account of your financial position, property, needs or objectives and is not personal financial, credit, legal, tax or investment advice.
PLFA does not hold an Australian financial services licence and does not provide financial product advice or credit assistance through this website.

Visiting this website, using a calculator or sending an enquiry does not create an adviser–client relationship.
Proposed changes and availability
Some content describes how PLF could work for homes if the relevant laws and arrangements change. These proposals depend on government decisions and the development of suitable funding, administrative and consumer protection arrangements.
A description of a proposed model is not a statement that it is currently available. We cannot guarantee that a proposed reform will be adopted, when it might start or what its final terms will be.
Business finance and demonstration opportunities depend on the applicable laws, participating councils, providers and project requirements. Availability in one location does not mean an arrangement is available elsewhere.
Calculators and examples
Our calculators and examples help explain possible costs and payment arrangements. They provide estimates using the inputs and assumptions shown.
Results are illustrative. They are not a quote, an offer of finance, an assessment of eligibility or a guarantee of payments, savings or other outcomes.
Actual costs may differ because of annual charge rates, fees, payment timing, project costs, eligibility requirements and the terms of the final agreement. A calculator’s results do not reflect costs or changes outside its stated assumptions.
Where an annual amount is shown as a monthly or quarterly equivalent, that figure is a budgeting illustration. It does not mean payments would be collected monthly or quarterly.
Before relying on a result, check the assumptions and obtain a written quote and the applicable agreement.
Research and findings
Research summaries and charts should be read alongside the source report, including its methods, assumptions and limitations.
Modelled choices and spending estimates are hypothetical results under the scenarios tested. They are not actual purchases, observed investment or forecasts of what will happen.
Survey responses reflect the people, questions and circumstances studied. Findings may not apply to every household, property or project.
We aim to represent research accurately. If a summary is unclear, refer to the original report or contact us.
Projects, benefits and outcomes
References to warmer homes, lower bills, working capital, energy resilience or other benefits describe potential outcomes. Results depend on the property, equipment, installation, use, financing and other circumstances.
Demonstration projects, including Urban Renewable Energy Zones, may require site assessment, council participation, funding, network approvals and final agreements.
Mentioning an organisation does not, by itself, mean it endorses PLFA or has committed to fund, approve or deliver a project. Photographs are illustrative unless identified otherwise.
Enquiries, support and registrations
Submitting an enquiry, supporting the change or registering your interest does not apply for finance, secure funding, reserve participation or create a contract, unless you sign a separate written agreement with us.
Supporting the change or registering for updates does not authorise us to publicly name you or your organisation. We may report support in aggregate. Any public attribution requires your separate permission.
We will only send you email updates if you ask for them, and every email will include a way to unsubscribe.
Privacy and hosting
This website is hosted by Wix.com. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information, including through Wix, cookies and analytics. Collection notices beside our forms explain how information submitted through those forms will be used.
Please do not submit identity documents, bank details or other sensitive information through a general enquiry form.
